Varsity Restaurant

Welcome to the Varsity Restaurant – Cambridge’s oldest restaurant. It has had a thoroughly modern makeover, now a friendly neighbourhood restaurant nestled in the heart of the city, the Varsity is the perfect spot for a pit stop lunch or an intimate dinner.

The restaurant still retains its old Cambridge charm, the building is listed and has a unique history (Sonia and Rajiv Ghandi met here). The dining space is now sleek and elegant and the food has been updated too, offering a fresh take on a classic bistro menu. The ingredients are seasonal and locally sourced wherever possible.
