Alexander Express in Oxhey village has an exciting menu of over 90 dishes including authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine enjoyed by millions of holiday makers each year.

Hussein and Omran Klait opened the small takeaway restaurant in Oxhey village in 2013 with the purpose of serving local authentic Lebanese food the traditional way.

Hussein explained: “As chefs, we wanted to do it the way it’s done back home, like our mum’s homemade cooking in the village we come from.”

Hussein and Omran first arrived in the UK over 14 years ago and spent a considerable amount of time working in Lebanese and Italian pizza restaurants, amassing a considerable amount of experience. Business is clearly booming and the restaurant is popular with locals, not only because of the delicious food but also because Hussein and Omran can provide catering for a range of different occasions.

Hussein said: “The Mediterranean diet is rightly perceived as healthy and nutritious and loved by our locals because of the endless varieties and magical tastes. Most of our food are good selling especially Lebanese Mezze starters, Shawarma and charcoal grills. Come and discover the best takeaway food around all delivered within 45 minutes.”
