Sun-Ya Chinese Restaurant in Marlow – The décor of the restaurant is minimalist with splashes of Chinese influence.
We can seat up to 30 people and we provide an excellent takeaway service with a 10% discount.

All the usual favourites are available including crispy aromatic duck with pancakes and shredded beef, and let’s not forget the toffee bananas for dessert followed by a pot of jasmine tea to end the evening.

An excellent Chinese beer is also available from the selection of bottled beers.

From Sunday to Thursday we have a great value three course meal in the restaurant available for £15.00

We are a small and intimate restaurant run by husband and wife team Kim and Kim Lai. We were established in the early sixties by my father Peter who has now retired.

Peter was originally from Hong Kong. He came over to the UK in 1962 and set up the Sun Ya in 1964 offering the small town of Marlow, something a little bit different for those days. I took over the business in the mid nineties and has set up my own clientele base on top of the regulars from the sixties that still dine here. My wife, also called Kim, joined me in the business towards the end of the nineties and we have established ourselves as a great team. As the proprietor of the business, I am responsible for the day to day running of Sun Ya so you can always expect a warm welcome.
