SONARGAON was the capital of Bengal during the great Mogul Empire of 1526 ruled by Issa Khan and it still exists today carrying on in the ancient customs and traditions of the Moguls.

The city of SONARGAON is situated 20 miles from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh and received thousands of visitors each year.

Dhaka’s famous 5 star Hotel is named after the old Mogul City and we too would like to carry on the ancient traditions so have also named our restaurant SONARGAON.
