The Cock sits aside the Great Ouse river in the quaint village of Hemingford Grey.
We are Cambridgeshire Dining Pub of the Year for 2017 (Good Pub Guide) and won National Pub of the Year in 2013.
The pub serves local real ales in comfortable, humble surroundings. Meanwhile the restaurant serves award-winning English and European food. Try fresh fish from the daily board, succulent steaks or The Cock’s homemade sausages, a much-loved signature dish.
WINE
Our wine list is quite unique in that it focuses on the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. We have visited the region many times, with staff, and have met very nearly all of the wine makers on our list.BEER & CIDER
We take real ale seriously and offer four real ales, all from breweries within a one hour’s drive. Lagers are on draft: Becks Vier and Calvors Premium. We also have real cider from Cromwell along with a good selection of soft drinks. -
