No. 12 Coffee House and Delicatessen, a refreshing new independent, family-run business in Letchworth town centre, and caffeine-loving customers are piling in.

What’s on offer…

The coffee house itself is spacious – there are plenty of tables, interspersed with a few comfy sofas. There is a full range of artisan coffees, Teapigs teas, hot drinks, and milkshakes on offer, as well as a good variety of paninis and sandwiches. The cakes look (and are) delicious. Hot chocolate can be either sweet or dark, and if you request marshmallows, you get four deliciously fluffy ones (yes, four, take note Costa Coffee).

No. 12…

There is a well-stocked delicatessen on the left as you enter, offering a wide-range of specialist produce. Towards the back of the coffee house, there’s a workstation where you can plug in and work if you need to (there is free Wi-Fi, just ask at the counter for the password). You can even enjoy Charlie Chaplin films projected onto the wall which is a nice quirky touch. There is one large toilet, with baby-changing mat, located at the rear.
