Mad Hatter Cafe – Castle Douglas

The Mad Hatter Café is owned and run by Neil Walker and has been established since 2007. Our café has become extremely popular with all local residents, businesses and the vast amount of tourists who visit Dumfries and Galloway. The cafe has an attractive frontage on the town’s main thoroughfare. It is cosy with 75 seats, while still giving a feeling of spaciousness and a relaxed atmosphere that Neil and his friendly staff have created. It is a café with a difference – we serve Fair Trade Coffee.

We have acquired a fantastic reputation for serving a huge selection of delicious, freshly prepared food on the premises. We only use produce that is locally grown and bred. The Mad Hatter Café represents good, honest Scottish fare, some with a continental hint to make it that little bit different. Try the filled paninis, the baked potatoes or the all-day breakfast!
