The Lemon Tree

The Lemon Tree restaurant in Bishop’s Stortford opened its doors in 1996 and is owned and run by husband and wife team Luke and Sue Fishpool. Luke is the Head Chef and the inspiration behind the innovative menus, whilst Sue manages the Front of House Team, selects the wine list and runs The Lemon Tree Outside Catering Service.

Professional food critics can be very demanding, but our chef’s skills in the kitchen rarely fall short of expectations, as regular Lemon Tree customers can testify. Our chosen theme for the restaurant is modern British cuisine, with emphasis on local and regional ingredients.

We intend to hold on to the restaurant’s premier status within the area. The welcoming ambience, perfectly prepared food and top quality service are all crucial to The Lemon Tree ‘experience’.
