  • The Thali & Tandoor experience is a return to the domestic culinary tradition, where we invite you to come and partake of our “ghar ka khana”.

Our menu consists of bona fide home and street foods from the subcontinent, flavours and tastes not palliated for the Western pre-conception. We call it, “ghar ka khana”, meaning food from the home.

Our communal feasts are designed to be shared amongst groups and to satisfy even the most voracious of appetites.

For a total price of £50, guests will get plentiful portions of the listed dishes. However in the unlikely event you run out of Roti, Naan or Raita you only need ask. Most importantly all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the company.

Vegetarian, gluten free, vegan options are available.

Dishes available in our communal feasts (serves 4 – 5 people):

To commence: dal puri, lamb samosa, pani purl, market pakora, bhajis, dips kachumber.
To follow: tandoor rotisserie chicken (whole), family biriani, afghan lamb, gunpowder aloo, sabzi masalla, roasted masalla brocolli, dal, okra fries

      Review by Wendy C, Bedfordshire

We went with friends today and had a very enjoyable lunch. There was an excellent selection of freshly cooked starters including some lovely tempura vegetables and samosas.

This was followed by a whole roast chicken, roasted broccoli and a host of accompaniments. It really was a feast! And more than four hungry people could eat. As always the service was friendly and attentive. All for £50. What’s not to like?
